Hong Kong 2.0

More and more Web 2.0 sites are popping up from Hong Kong, slowly but surely. First is the Online spreadsheet EditGrid. It’s been told many times only, here and here. You can say it’s in direct competition with Google’s own spreadsheet or the other way around, whichever you prefer. I can’t go into details about how they compare as I haven’t found the need to use those online office applications. I will give them a test run sooner or later though.

Another is recruit.net, it’s based in Hong Kong. It’s very much like indeed.com and simplyhired.com. I had an idea of creating something like that, really I did, but too slow… Guess it’s one less thing to do on my to-want-to-do list. Lesson learned, you snooze, you lose.

Now on the bigger and better things.

So, HK has noticed the trend and have made some progress. It’s good to see the developments on the move.
