IM me

The news around the IM field is that MSN Messenger can work with Yahoo! Messenger. That’s all nice but for me, and I might be the only one, I don’t mind having multiple IM clients on my desktop, even if they eat up most of my resources. What would be nice though is if they killed all the advertisements in them and other useless links and features. I mean how many people click on the MSN dating link, Try Rhapsody Free link, MSN Today, AOL links and other links?

And if I’m away from my computer, then I am all over Meebo. Meebo integrates all IM clients on the web. It’s nice. It’s simple! It’s all I could ask for! There’s a blog! Yes, there are others like Meebo, for example, KoolIM, eBuddy, but I personally find Meebo to be very simple. Ok, I’m kinda lying because I never gave the others a try and I probably won’t because Meebo does the job for me even if they don’t support file transfers or video conferences.

Gomeebo: Go try it out.
