Meebo has an excellent widget out called Meebo Me. You see it on my side bar, try it, Meebo me. It’s pretty nice and after a quick test meebo-ing myself (yes, I have no friends), I realize there is a slight lag when a guest sends a message to me but when I send to the guest, it’s almost instant. It’s no biggie and it’s probably the network.

I am starting to love using meebo more and more now. Of course, I won’t give up my MSN any time soon. Actually MSN Messenger is the only messenger I use, the rest, Yahoo, GTalk, AIM, I use Meebo to connect.

When they have video and audio implemented is when I’ll start using Meebo for all my IM needs. In the meantime, it does the job and does it amazingly well. And I can double up as an analytics tool where I can see how many users are online (well, at least during the time that I’m online) and how long they hang around for.
