Update: Sign up by using the wiki!

Here is some good news for the startups here. Jeremiah Owyang from PodTech in Silicon Valley will be in town the week of Sept 16-21, 2007. For anyone who is unfamiliar with Jeremiah, he is a web strategist and a social media guru and is well known in the Valley for his work and his talks.

He is interested in meeting the Hong Kong web community and if any local startups is interested in hosting this event, you’d be recognized for life!! This is an opportunity to get to speak with someone who is in the know and you’ll be sure your startup will be heard.

I am helping out with coordinating this one and if you’d like to join in, help out, host this, let me know by commenting or emailing me. Actually, leave a comment with your name and contact as a way to say you are interested (give my comments table some love) and I’ll put the interested parties up in a cute little list later on. Likewise, hit up Jeremiah’s post and leave a comment there.

So open up your office space for a night, you can sponsor or we can all pitch in, grab some grub and drinks and talk geek, like the past couple times.

Oh, forgot to mention, there’s no date set yet. I’ll update you when we have a date set.
