BarCamp Hong Kong is on this Friday

I, along with other organizers are finally making BarCamp happen in Hong Kong!

Friday will be an ice breaker event, at Why Club/Bar in Tsim Sha Tsui. Hours are only 6pm-9pm. Thanks to Zendesk for sponsoring drinks and JadeTower is ready to sponsor additional rounds, if necessary.

Yahoo! Hong Kong has been great in taking in BarCamp and offering their space on a Saturday since the start. T-shirts from Dookaz, lunch and snacks is sponsored by Outblaze, drinks from Drinkazine, pens from HKDay.net

This is very exciting since almost all of the people I’ve approached for sponsorship were unaware of what BarCamp was and what you do there (even the folks at Y! HK). So this is a great first step to getting everyone in Hong Kong involved, including the companies!

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday and Saturday. I suggest you go to BarCamp Hong Kong wiki for the latest updates and the whereabouts of the bar and BarCamp venue.
