Open Source Food - it’s all about the presentation

Open Source Food, based in Tokyo, has got to be my favorite recipe site. The site has actually been around for a while now, but have never covered it, and since I’ve been on the lookout for new recipes, I’d thought you guys should have a peek yourselves. Just recently, they (rather he, Jon being a one man team) launched a new site design and it’s beautilicious.

Just by looking around, you first get the feeling that it’s a Flickr for foodies, the stunning photographs, the Pro status, but the content is far better. The photographs themselves make the food that much more enticing. In fact, I’ve even noticed a few Flickrites calling OSF home as well.
I’d like to say OSF is the home for any recipes Asian, but there’s a fair mix of Western and fusion recipes too. So, if you feel like making use of that wok, then head over to OSF. If cooking and recipes aren’t your thing, you can still head over and drool til your salivary glands could handle no more. Either way, I’m sure you’ll make your way into the kitchen soon after browsing through this site. This community is serious about their food, the all important, presentation and their photography.
