UPDATE: Harbork and Zendesk are sponsoring the food/drinks. There will be a short demo by Harbork service.
There will be a social event for the startups this coming Thursday, June 19th and we welcome local startups and individuals who are interested in knowing more about starting a startup in Hong Kong. Much like the previous gatherings here, here, there and everywhere, this continues to be a purely networking event for web entrepreneurs here, although I am open to the idea of a demo for this gathering and other ideas as well, but no one has stepped up to demo. If you are interested in demo-ing your site, please let me know.
Stepcase will be hosting the event and we already have couple sponsors who will make this happen and will update that them once it’s confirmed. If you are on Facebook, there is an event page there, if not, feel free to just pop in. I was told the space is a small, but I’m sure we’ll all fit in snugly.
Speaking of events, I’d like to thank Nicholas at Twidox for inviting me to the TechCrunch/ CrunchGear and twidox German Web2.0 Meetup in Berlin. Unfortunately, I was tied up with an engagement which I thought I could make an early exit, but couldn’t. Thanks again Nicholas, hope we can catch up another time.
