Hong Kong’s first Web 2.0 conference went over quite well yesterday. The turnout was better than I expected, with over 200 attended from various companies of different sectors. The content of the conference, thus far, has been disappointing. The presentations have as much sales pitch as educational material which kinda sucks.
Not to my surprise, I am seeing a lot of represetatives from large corps of varying sectors, banks, airline, logistics company but there are few startups. It appears the learning process has [...]

Update 2: In case anyone was wondering (I think most of you are), the conference will be conducted in English with the exception of the panel discussion at the end of the conference, which will be in Cantonese.
